HS20-65
BOOSTER
PUMP

With Torrium II®
"Intelligent" Controller

Need to pressurize water from a storage tank or other non-pressurized water source? The Davey HS20-65 booster pump does the job while providing you the ultimate in strong, even water pressure.

Unlike pressure switch controlled pumps that require an external draw down pressure tank, the Davey HS20-65 with Torrium-II® controller starts as soon as the faucet is opened and keeps running until water is no longer required. The result is smooth, even pressure for showers, sprinklers and all your pumping needs.

Typical applications include:

  • Household water supplies
  • Irrigation
  • Water transfer

The Davey HS20-65 booster pump is an economical, compact, quiet, efficient pump. Easy to install, needing no adjustment and requiring very little maintenance. Can be used with water temperatures up to 150°F. It's corrosion resistant construction can handle hard and acidic water supplies.

KNOW YOUR BUILDING CODES:
The International Residential Code and most local building codes limits the static (no flow) pressure to 80 psi for residential household use. In some applications a Pressure Regulator installed after the booster pump may be required to restrict the outlet pressure and prevent damage to household appliances & plumbing.

The International Residential Code states "A means for controlling increased pressure caused by thermal expansion shall be installed where ... a backflow prevention device, check valve or other device is installed on a water supply system using storage water heating equipment." (2903.4) Since most Booster Pump Systems and Pressure Regulators incorporate a check valve, installation of an expansion tank is highly recommended even if not required by local code.
