NOTE: Refurbished pumps are subject to limited
availability throughout the year.
NOTE: DO NOT EXCEED A TOTAL PUMP PRESSURE OF 100 PSI. The total
pump pressure will be the inlet pressure + maximum boost pressure from the
table above. Municipal water supplies can vary over a 24 hour period and
in some applications a Pressure Regulator installed before the booster
pump may be required to restrict the inlet pressure and prevent damage to
the booster pump.
KNOW YOUR BUILDING CODES:
The International Residential Code and most local building codes limits the
static (no flow) pressure to 80 psi for residential household use. In some
applications a Pressure Regulator installed after the booster pump may be
required to restrict the outlet pressure and prevent damage to household
appliances & plumbing.
The International Residential Code states "A
means for controlling increased pressure caused by thermal expansion shall be
installed where ... a backflow prevention device, check valve or other
device is installed on a water supply system using storage water heating
equipment." (2903.4) Since most Booster Pump Systems and Pressure Regulators
incorporate a check valve, installation of an expansion tank is highly
recommended even if not required by local code.
